  8. A bug in Mac OS 8.0 requires Desktopper’s “Periodically Update Icon Positions” feature to be disabled. Very frequent use of the “Update Icon Positions” command can cause the Finder to crash.

  10. Desktopper should not be used on a Mac OS 8.0 computer that is rarely restarted, such as a file server.

  12. This bug is not present in Mac OS 7.5 or 7.6, and is expected to be fixed in Mac OS 8.1.

  17. •Desktopper 1.0 is incompatible with Disk Copy 6.1.2, please quit Desktopper before using Disk Copy.

  19. •When the Finder’s desktop view is set to small icon, and the font size is greater than 12, Desktopper's icons will not be correctly aligned with the Finder’s icons.
